Common Sense Media is a website for families that provides consumer information about various media formats. The site provides suggestions and reviews of books, movies, TV shows, websites, apps, videos and video games. Each item entry (and there are thousands) features a description of the item (video, book, etc.), age ranges, content guide (language, violence, etc.), ratings, reviews and educational uses (if any).

Common Sense Media also offers articles and other resources with advice and guidance on topics like:
If you set up an account with Common Sense Media (which is not required for most features of the site), you and your children can post reviews and provide other users with ideas and information you deem important.
